Hesitation on acceleration and smokey start.

an anybody help? Car seems to be hesitating on acceleration whenever i plant my foot to go quicker. Usually in 3rd and 4th gear but most of the times its just a slight blip but some times it can be throughout the rev range. Also! when i start the car usually in the evening 3-4 hours after returning home from work and sometimes first thing in the morning it seems to fire up fine then for maybe 2 seconds sound and feel a bit rough whilst ticking over. Whilst this is happening it smokes like crazy then stops. It could be usual diesel behaviour as this is the first diesel i have owned i might not know lol.

Forgot to add, No fault codes and the car is a sri 1.9cdti

What colour is the smoke?

Is it the 120 or 150 model?

150 model and the smoke appears to be white.

White smoke could be unburnt diesel or coolant.

Does it use any coolant?

Check the swirl bar to see if it has become detached.

Remove and clean the EGR (How 2 on here).

Remove and clean boost sensor (How 2 on here).

Check third injector wiring (Yellow plug = old one).

and no the coolant level isnt dropping at all.
