    bought a satnav off ebay advertised as a fully operational navman came today it does not have a windscrren mount and is a igo im like wtf got straight onto the guy and he says it is a navman and i did not say it comes with a holder but he never sayed it didnt so im ragin

    only payed £25 but its not the point its the bull**** advertising it something its not but in the middle of sorting it seems a good satnav but useless without a windscreen mount

    You could open dispute I suppose, item not as described, and return for refund.. It could be a Navman, it's possibly had the OS craked open which allows installation of alternative mapping software, like Igo.. Though its probably using a dodgey map licence key, which could prove tricky trying to do map updates in the future..

    But if it works ok, you got it cheap, screen mounts are not too expensive, and Igo is superb really (better than what Navmans have on normally) I think Igo is far far superior to even TomTom.. So it might well be worth keeping afterall...

    well got an email there saying he actually has the holder so im getting it posted and yes turns out its a navman with igo software and is well better than most satnavs and can play music watch videos and view photos and its a legal software i have so result but he could have been clearer on item description

    My Alpine satnav uses the IGO8 software and it's the best satnav I've ever owned. You got a bargain my friend

    I know what you mean, bought something electronic (virtual router) recently advertised as new, it was dirty and scuffed and it had already been used and registered online to the seller and "tied" to his account. I had to unregister is and wait to re-register to use it. I complained to him several times but kept insisting it was new - ?????? Just plain lying even though he knew I knew he was talking rubbish.
