    Default power steering fluid ? signum 2.0t engine

    can anyone tell me where the power steering fluid gets topped up ? is it combined with the brake fluid ? i have looked thru the owners manual but there is no mention !!!!!!!
    i feel a right numpty
    can anyone help please ?????????

    It is not combined with the brake reservoir and you must not add power steering fluid to the brake system.

    now, i'm guessing here as there are 2 places the reservior can be and i'm not 100% on the 2.0T engine.

    it's either on top of the rack itself ( large whiteish cannister with a black lid), or located under the driverside headlight, yet again a large whiteish canister.

    If It's In The Same Place As On The Vectra, It's Behind The Bumper In Front Of The Drivers Side Wheel. You Need To Take The Wheel Arch Liner Off To Get At It.

    I too wondered where the power steering fluid reservoir was located on my GSi, it's not until recently GSi3.2 pointed out in another thread that it was located behind the drivers side headlamp way down. Low and behold i had a peep the other day and it was there

    God knows how i get to it to check the level though

    Maybe yours is somewhere similar??

    just had a squint.. according to the TIS it's down under the headlight on the 2.0T engine..

    Is it easy enough to do myself ? there does'nt seem to be much room down there !!
    my car is going into the stealers on thursday because i am getting a sort if high pitch grinding sound coming from front drivers side when on full lock to the right. hopefully going to be done on networkQ
