Default Anyone into home AV set ups?

Looking at replacing my Sherwood AV amp for something newer.

Just been looking at the spec of the ONKYO TXSR608 : http://www.richersounds.com/product/...yo-txsr608-blk

Spec looks really good for the price but I havnt heard of Onkyo before.

    ONKYO is top stuff.

Although I dont have any, alot of the lads I game with have proper home cinema set ups and they rate them very highly.

If your after reviews and good advice on AV setups, check out th AVF forums, theres alot of really good info on there.

Onkyo's are a bit of a budget range but never the less they are excellent quality. I work in the industry www.conceptclarity.co.uk and we fit quite a few of these as they have bags of features and the clients like the pricetag

Yep Onkyo is highly rated in the value for money bracket.
I am more into mid/high-end hifi than AV , but I know the Onkyo name well, tends to be a bit of a giant killer.

I've got an Onkyo amp and can't praise it highly enough.. For the money its absolute class. They always do well on the What Hifi award reviews too.

I was looking to buy an Onkyo amp but got a Denon in the end, but no other reason than I found the Denon on offer at a HiFi store.
