I use a blue tooth ELM327 that I keep in the car that I can pair with an app on my phone (TORQUE).
Seems to work ok.
thats the one im looking at and same app, do you have a link, how much did you pay the only canbus one i can find is £25, is it a good code reader and the live data is working as well.
I bought it ages ago but was about that price.
The app does most of the live data but not all.
It will show boost pressure, inlet temperature etc etc.
hows the code reader part, does it give code and description
Just gives the Pxxxx number then look it up online.
just ordered one downloaded latest vs of torque and going by the pics it give you the code and decription with the option to go online for further info, 2-3 days is a long wait i have no patience.
got it works well but is throwing up connection errors counts in torque, did you suffer any connection errors or do i have a duff unit
I disabled 'Faster Communication' and that helped.
If the dials freeze also disable ELM327 auto time.
cheers bud
