trackace diy wheel allignment

has anyone got one of these??

iv been into building something with lasers to align the wheels but never got around to it but now i dont have to..

it looks good and iv read a few good reviews but wondered if anyone on here has got one and if its any good..

pretty cheap at 85 quid but theres some on ebay for 50.

I use a Gunson Trakrite, got it for just under £50 on ebay. It doesn't use lasers, you drive over the gauge and if the wheels aren't perfectly aligned the sideways force moves the needle on the gauge and it tells you whether you have too much toe-in or toe-out. It's saved me a small fortune in alignment fees, because even if your alignment is fine, if you ask the high street places to check it they often tell you it's out, as the £30 fee helps them meet their daily revenue target.

iv seen them they look pretty good...

i saw this fella post vids on youtube ages ago when he first invented this and i thought it was a good idea.... i didnt think he'd put it into production tho but im glad he did cos i bought one lol...

il post my findings on here when it comes as my tracking's slightly out.

right..... iv replaced the inner and outter track rod ends and tracked it up with the trackace.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLANT!....

i even compared it with me mates dunlop system and he was impressed.

go buy some!
