    Default central locking key fob

i searched for key fob but had no matches so hope someone can help.

my key buttons stopped working, so swapped to spare key.

just got a battery for 1st key but it still does not work

tried two batteries one at 3.1v and other at 3.3v. leads me to think the key is at fault or its lost the settings or something.

is there any way to get the key working again?

Never needed to change the battery on my Vec's key yet, but on my Astra G, I just put the key in ingition, turn ignition on (do not start engine), and press door-lock button on the key. The doors will lock and unlock.

Not sure if it's the same for the Vectra though. Sure someone will confirm

Yeah if its not that its something very similar. Ive done it before also after changing the battery in the key.

It tells you how to re-sync the key in the manual aswell.

Got an 1998 Vectra Envoy!! Central locking ALWAYS been a problem: Now can't re-set either in ignition or with key fob. Drivers door only one that actually opens with the key!! Even on the inside can't open front passenger OR rear drivers door!! Petrol locking also "Jammed" though can open from within the boot manually. Original radio STILL works but my new radio/cd player + memory doesn't even with the extra lead adaptor (although it did for a week or so!! Any advice would be gratefully received: Thank you in advance.

As Paul said above this is vectra c/signum.com vectra c's are 2002-2009 model vectra so you wont have many people on here who will know much about vectra b's.

and try the key repair service here for the one thats not working:
    http://stores.ebay.co.uk/carspares24...id=p4340.l2563
I've used him and he's very good

or this one is nearer to you:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Repair-Ser...item2a13ecff10

but I've not used them so don't know how good they are.
