Am I right in thinking someone with tech2 can remove erg from ecu? Thus eliminating engine management light?
I have read that on the 1.9 cdti (120) you need to drill a 9mm hole in the middle of the blanking plate to allow some gases to pass which is enough to fool the sensor that it is running ok and does not activate the EML. Not sure if this works on the 150 perhaps someone else can advise
Well i have since seen the plates with the holes in the middle on the bay, but i have took it out an the light went off after a couple of days.I might get a opcom if ii keep the car an remove the light that way if poss. Thanks for help.
