Default Rear lights, one darker than the other one??

I noticed recently that the tinted part on the top of the drivers side rear light is darker than the one on the passenger side. To me the passenger side rear light looks to match the 3rd brake light so I guess the drivers side has been replaced at some point. I remember someone mentioning the pre-face / facelift rear sri lights were different shades. Can someone tell me which ones are lighter as I would like to replace the darker one, it's bugging me now I've noticed it lol.

Looks like you want the facelift version (see below)

Take a look at the part numbers imbossed into the plastic of each cluster, noting which is lighter nearside and darker offside
These can then be matched to determine if they are from the correct vehicle type
If not, then you can replace the lighter nearside with the correct part number that mathces the darker offside
On completion you can then keep the removed one as a spare or sell

More than likely the rear of your car has had accident damage, or the lamp cluster failed and the part has been replaced, and as is typical wanders into Parts Department, "One rear brake light cluster tinted version"
The prefacelift will be cheaper, so that is what was used

You could always use tint spray to match it up

Thanks guys will have a look at the p/n. So the facelift have a lighter tint than the pre-face. I will have a look round for a replacement. Cheers!
