Hello all, i have a vectra c 1.8 2003, its got a very slight misfire at idle, ive changed the plugs, cleaned the throttle body and tryed a coil pack off another vectra 1.8 and its still the same, theres no lights on the the dash coming up ever, any suggestion would be much appreciated thanks Lozza.

Had to get a new battery today £62 from vx as the old 1 had the black light warning and only reading 46%, tested the alternator and that was fine so im happy about that, but theres still the problem with the slight miss, could it be the EGR valve as ive been looking through the forum and therers a few posts about this problem oh and ive just filled up with a full tank and put some wynns injector cleaner in as well, give it clean through.

The misfire seem to be more when the engine is cold, then when its heated up its not as noticeable.

Right ive been driving around now for a few days and the car is running lovely after i put that wynns injector cleaner in, think its down to cleaning the throttle body out aswell, seems to run very smooth now, but! when the the engine has warmed up and standing still just ticking over the revs go down to about 700rpm and i can feel a slight judder.. what could this be? any idea`s would be great thanks (Lozza)

Throttle valve, idling regulator can issue them. First, clean the throttle, then change the idle speed adjuster.
