    Question turbo noise

since getting my exhaust done, from front cat thats mounted to the manifold, 2.5 inch exhaust, then 2 inch from y section.

ive notised the turbo sucking in louder and the dumping of pressure is more crisp, is this usual, exhaust is real nice with the work spot on.

also might be just me but when i give it some, it doesnt push me back into my seat as much... might be same not sure.

    what you guys think? cheers

Doubt it will be back pressure issue. There are guys on here running stage 1 with 3" systems.

The original bore diameter on my 2.0T down pipe and main sections is 2" (I measured it when I got it home) so it's only increased it .5" over standard.

Mine appears fine picks up etc etc intact I would say it appears to spool up quicker.

Will see when I get it on the rollers lol.

yer prob just me adam, u know when you do something new to your car you look for faults/noises.

defently the turbo spools quicker, and a crisper dumping sound.

you looking forward to the roller session? where you doing that at?

Down at high tech motorsport where it was done first time. I only use one dyno as they all give different readings so I can judge any gain or loss accordingly n not blame different dyno.

I'm interested to see what it makes. Last time I was there I had a pre map run at 169 wheel bhp and after was 181 wheel bhp. I'm actually after more trq lol.
