    Default z22yh 2.2 vectra c 2004

    hello my car running badly .i left it 2 a small garage they changed the ecu for a second hand one .i had a friend put the car on computer it only picks up z22se my car is z22yh would they or could they have put the wrong one in.

    Engine : TID (1.9 16v)

    Year : 2010

    Mileage : 137000

    The ECU would have to be coded in so they must have used the correct kit. Is your car definitely a YH, mine is an 04 but its a SE, that year had both engines.

    if your preveous ECU was z22yh then I would have thought they should have fitted the same....... but i'm no expert

    just checked my dianostics software and there are 3 for 2.2 year 04 list

    Z22DTR
    Z22SE
    Z22YH

    LOL, the DTR is a diesel mate, the other 2 are petrol. The YH and SE are essentially the same engine but with the YH having a different manifold and fuel system, an evolution if you will.

    yea the car deffo the yh my mates computer could not read yh it only picked up se its been running badly since the ecu was changed cheers man
