    Default Bulb Warning Light...

Somebody might be able to help me out with this...

I've never had any of the warning lights come on in this car, but now I've got the orange bulb warning light above the clocks and on the information screen it's saying 'Parking Light'. The thing is, my parking lights are fine - I've checked them.

Any idea what's causing this or how I can sort it out?

Which parking light? Front or rear?

If rear, have another look as there are 2 bulbs per side in the light cluster. One is also a brake light. If the upper parking light fails, then the lower parking light takes over the role of parking/brake light.

It could also be a bulb is on its way out. Although not blown yet, the resistance changes enough to trigger the fault light.

I also have this problem at the minute?
'Parking Light' but all of my bulbs appear to be fine?
My passenger side rear fog light doesn;t seem to be working even when I put working bulbs in its place?

The back left fog circuit isn't used.

Double check the rear lights as there are 2 each side.

One is also the brake light, but if the tail/brake light fails, the other tail light then becomes the tail/brake light instead.

    I don't quite understand?
Surely if it was a brake light failure it would said brake light and not parking light?

I will go out and check now

Not if it was the lower of the two tail lights, which becomes the brake/tail light if the upper one fails.
