Default How do you remove 'B' pillar external covers

my black plastic covers on both front and rear doors are starting to perish ALREADY!, signs of a misstreated past life

Anyway, is there an easy way to remove them as i'm thinking about getting them colour coded or vinyl wrapped along with getting my eyebrows repainted (then ill get my bumper done again!)

Put the Windows down and pull the window rubber seal off (gently, as the obvious will happen if you destroy it) I think and this will reveal two/three screws. Undo them and I think it just unclips off. Lizard done his last wek.

Yip, my car would fall to bits, probably. It would be like pulling a loose thread from a cotton jumper.

Hello Paul, mine were done with Halfords rattle cans, 2 coats of black gloss and 8 to 10 layers of laquer.. trims come off as above, pull window rubber out, 3 torx screws, bottom one is a touch fiddly, carefully pull the outer rubber off, its in a slotted groove, pull outwards from the edge where the torx screws are and then when it comes out push towards the back of the car for the fronts and front off the car for the car for the rears and they unclip, fiddly to replace though cos of the inner window rubber... HTH
