    Default warm aircon

Just replaced my aircon condenser and regassed using one of the DIY things from Halfrauds. Still blowing warm air. It looks like it is holding pressure though now. Do you think something else is wrong too? if so what? or is it just DIY kit is rubbish?

Lol well I figured since I had decided to keep the car and fork out for a DMF I might as well sort all the other niggles.

The DIY kit is easy to use, it just plugs into the low pressure port near the front of the engine bay. Would be even better if it made the aircon cold too though.

PS fancy coming and setting fire to my vec? lol

where does it for £49, where does it for £20?

I like the fact kwikfit say that unless it cools your aircon there won't be a charge.

    Ian,

my aircon died from turning it off over winter Doh... i'm always telling folk you have to run it at least once a week what ever the weather or it will leak through the seals.
my own fault for forgetting to turn it back on (climate from eco)

well i found a place today local to me who regassed after pressure testing & adding a dye all for a cash price of £40.
it's been icey inside all afternoon while travelling around for work... trouble is my latest issue:
my outside temp sensor has been moved (clearly while having the dmf work) & is now over reading... damn it!
my guess is it's sat too near the engine & not behind the bumper as it was prior lol... i will investigate at the weekend

Probably dangling against the aircon condenser and getting heat radiating from engine.
