    Default Fault Code P 1483

This code came back when I did the test on my car today.
According to the code its a power to fan overcurrent

Can anyone tell me what does an overcurrent to the fan do?
And how can it be fixed??

    Thanks in advance.....

have a read of this thread aboutcooling fan ECU.
My car has been throwing an intermittant spanner light since I got it. The codes come up p1481,1482,1483. Apparently they relate to the cooling fan, but if your fan is working ok (it should kick in at 92 degrees) there might be a minor fault in the circuit. Check the connectors as per the link, but if you aren't getting any mechanical symptoms, I wouldn't worry...just keep an eye on it.
