Default CDTI 120 - 400 nm - check this graph

Finnaly I got measure the output in my engine. Up north in Norway its only one that can do this. As you se on the picture its monted directly on the hub so its no wheel spin.

This is a 2007 cdti 120 8 valve with 120 hp/280 nm. Today we measure 170 hp (DIN) and incredible 406 nm. We did to runs and the first with litle under 80 degree engine temp. The other we had 85 degree.

As you can see at the graph it make over 380 nm between 2100 rpm and 3050 rpm. The person that help me making the map will try to adjust this so it deliver 400 all the way.

When we did the run we start to load at 1500 rpm, so the graph its correct from about 1800 rpm because of the turbo lag.

I am very happy with this engine. Its more nm then many of the remapped cdti 150 has. And I just boost 1,56 bar. I will try to adjust boost to 1,6-1,62 bar and a small amount extra diesel and hoping to see 180 hp/420nm next time I take a test. Problem is its 270 km ride one way to get there.

Btw, the correction factor from the hub to the engine is 12 %. Supplier of the measure equipment said 12-14 % differents frem hub to engine on a FWD car so we was conservative and use the lowest recomende factor to be at the right side.

nice result, that would make it around 295lb ft... which is around 15lb ft more than my standard 16v

Yes it push very nice all the way

The person that map for me did a check on the graph and he said it was no problem to make it deliver 400 nm between 2100 - 3050 rpm.

    Do you have a cdti 150 that gives 280lf/ft / 380 nm?
