No they won't, with oem wheels and 314mm disks and calipers 17inch or bigger is needed to clear the caliper... and even with some aftermarket 17 inch wheels they can touch...

Ok, thanks, good to know...Intended to get some 16” wheels for winter, but meanwhile I've refurbished 1 set of OE 17" alloy wheels which already had(but looked bad as deep scratches were present all over from previous she-owner), bought some winter tyres and all set. Let the winter come!
16 inch GM Steel "Structure" wheels fit, (the ones that look like alloys when the plastic wheel covers are fitted). They worked well on my Vectra-C Gsi (314"s 292"s) and I used them as winter wheels / tyres with no problem, however, the standard GM 16" wheels don't clear the 314"s so beware of getting the right ones.

I'm not intending at all to get some 16" wheels...but I have a narrow spare steel wheel (like retrofit because originally the car came with a tire repair kit) which I suspect it won't fit at all as front wheel, but if it fits as back wheel it'll be enough for me...I suppose the direct way to find out is to try to mount on the narrow spare wheel...
