    Default Mot failure

****** first time its failed the MOT.
Front coil spring on OS gone. Suprise Suprise.
Quoted about £270 to fit the pair.
Can get a pair of springs myself about £80. Is it a reasonable job to fit them. I can get a set of spring compressors so thats not a problem, but does anytrhing need setting up after, ie camber ( i know the last springs i did was on a carlton needed alignment check afterwards.

Had to do mine twice in 6 months dude........Potholes are everywhere lol. But yeah its defo a DIY job, there is a how 2 in the how2 section. But remember to replace the plastic sleeve at the bottom of the coil, I forgot to the first time and had to take them off again to replace them haha...

    Default

My two front springs were replaced last year, the sleeves were not though and they are not now present but I notice no difference, no funny boings etc so for me they made no difference.
