    Hi,

Tried to jump my car with cables but battery was that dead it just wudnt start. got my mates transit van and still didnt jump off that. towed it behind van and it jumped battery is now starting the car but still pretty low in charge i think. everything is working except the radio. the on/off button on the front of the cd/radio wont work neither will the one on the wheel. tried checkin fuses cant work out which one is for the radio thou. any help with them?

i have checked them breifly i read about a fuse at the back of the stereo could it be that?

    Any help is much appreciated!!

    Thanks in advance!

Check your alternator, the car also shuts down stuff when voltage is low,

normaly starts with internal electrics then power steering then ABS and wipers then full shut down.

my car started ok now so i dont think its alternator as the battery was 100% dead now i have drove it for a bit it starts off the battery now. i think its either teh fuse for the radio where ever it is or the fuse on the back of the main cd/radio unit. does anybody know where teh fuses are for the radio?

I know there's a fuse in the passenger door fusebox but for the life of me can't remember which one it is.

Its a bit of a pain checking all of them but i honestly dont know which one did it
