Default Dipped headlight bulbs: How do you remove them?

Manual says twist the headlight bulb holder but how?.

Mine are rock solid and dont seem to want to twist in any direction, I'm concerned I break something here!!!.

    they are firm..

the spring wire clip is held under two screw heads..it is a tightun as you've found out but it helps if you gently push in at the same time as turning it..

    Cheers m8.

So do you just turn it?. Or is there a clip that needs undone first?. What way do I turn it?. Just had another go and cant get it to budge, plus cut my knuckle at the same time!!!.

Right.. got 'desk jockeys' old headlight on my desk in front of me..

the dipped beam holder is just a spring clip in a folded metal holder..no trick clips to undo or anything..

if rotates to the left..( anti clockwise) when veiwed from behind..

give me 5 mins and i'll see if i can get a phone camera photo up for you..

    here you are..

the back of the lamp holder, showing the catch

the back of the bulb holder showing the 2 spring legs top and bottom

and someone's fat fingers turning it anti clockwise

    hope this helps..
