    Default 1st MoT, when to book?

    Unique position for me, first time I've ever had a car never been MoT'd before.
    It was first registered 14 July 2008, as far as I know, that's when it falls due to be MoT'd. Anyone know whether that's right?

    yup, I would book in 2 weeks before to allow any work needed to happen under warranty

    And remember that next year you do it a month before its due and get a 13 month MOT.
