Xtrons TD714 Headunit what else is needed

Im getting my Xtrons TD714 Headunit tomorrow and was wondering what else i would need apart from the fascia surround my car is 04 cdti sri half canbus and im looking to try and use the original cage if i can

I looked at this a while ago, and I know a few people had problems using the original cage. I'm still saving up for either the TD714 or the 713.

i plumped for an aftermarket cage - saves loads of hassle, the facia surround needed the bottom cutting out as the headunint comes with a surround but is quite thick - its not noticeable when fitted - oh I also needed to run an ignition live from the ciggy lighter - you may/may not have to
