Just had the AA on the phone offering me a warranty as part of my AA Membership. They will pay for repairs up to the value of £500 on mechanical or electrical, up to a max of 5 times a year, and with only a £25 excess. And the cost of the Warranty, £18. Seems too good to be true, or is that around the norm? They are sending me out the information pack so I'll see but if you consider the cost of a new alternator from VX, and these seem to fail almost as often as springs, so got to be worth it. Will defiantly be reading the small print and see what you have to do service wise and as long as home servicing is ok I can not see me not taking this out.
Anyone else have a warranty through the AA?
