    Default Rust?

What's the warranty on rust? I have just found a rust bubble no one of my rear arches, the car is an 06 with full service history, but not with VX the last couple of years, so do I have any comeback with vx?

    Cheers guys..

Anti-performation warranty is 6 yrs, provided it's inspected annually and stamped in the service book.

A rust bubble isn't necessarily formed from a perforation. It could have been caused by an untreated stone chip.

To 'perforate' it has to come from the inside - out of the metal and then show signs of a hole.

Rust warranty and perforation warranty are 2 different meanings.

In answer to your question about comeback - very unlikely.

    What he said really and..

Very rarely do dealers fill in the bit in the service schedule every year that says they've checked the bodywork.
Mines been filled in once in coming up to it's fifth year since first registered.....06 plate.

I've owned it less than a year.
