    Default New Vectra Owner!

    Hey Guys,
Just bought my new vectra today.
Managed to get it for an absolute bargain... it's a 2008 plate, with 22,000 on the clock, it's a 1.8 SRi in black!
    and.... I love it!
I already have some plans, I'm going to start by colour coding the crome grill.

I was previosly an astra owner, and a member on A.O.C.
I know that with forums there are always certain topics that get brought up a lot, for example, with astras everyone raves about doing 'the airbox' mod or to clean out the throttle body from all the crap etc.

Is there any 'You must do this now' modifications that I should look into for my vectra? I've had a quick scan through the how-to and I like that this is a very active forum

Couple of questions I did have.

    - My SRi comes with a very tiny lip spoiler, can this be removed? does it leave any marks?

    - Has anyone fitted parking sensors to there car? This is something I would very much like to do

    - What different spoilers are available? I'd like to change the rear lip one to maybe a slightly more sporty looking one

    - What size bulbs are in the vectra headlamps? I'd like to fit some H.I.D's and sidelights

    Cheers!

    1. Yes the lip spoiler can be removed. Two bolts inside the boot lid and double sided tape on the outside...

    2. Yes, after market ones.. they work just fine.

    3. VXR Spoiler is the most popular. Direct replacement for the lip spoiler. Double sided tape and tiger seal to fix it on, covers the holes left by the Lip spoiler... You're looking at around £100-150 for one!

    4. I think they are H7... Most on here have fitted HIDS. HIDS Direct do a good deal
