Default 3.0 euro 3 - which tuning box actually fits?

Hi all, i'm new here having just bought a Signum 3.0 cdti. It's truly a lovely car, but next to my alfa 156 2.4 it's shockingly slow, especially when it comes to throttle response. It's only done 50k and it's an auto, so i thought i'd fit a tuning box to a) improve throttle response and b) maybe improve the mpg. I don't want outright power just extra driveability.

i bought a pro-bitz box but this doesn't seem to fit. I know the dtuk ones are a quick fit and don't actually use the rail sensor plug, but one further out and on top of the engine. The probitz was for the pressure sensor, which i found out is buried deep within the engine.

Anyone have any experience of any other brands that are a simple 5 minute fit? If so, would love to hear what they are.

    Cheers.

I've got a DTUK CRD2 had it on for 40k and its been great really transforms the car. Have had it go into limp home mode once (yesterday in fact!) but I'm not 100% it was the box as I was on mid throttle. It doesn't really affect economy when cruising but it's sooooo hard not to use the loud pedal!

cheers for that. I can't really afford the price of a dtuk, as much as i wish i could. I know it's a really simple fit, whereas most others seem to be designed o fit straight to the fuel rail sensor, which is somewhat buried on this engine.

Anyone else had any experience of easily fitting another brand?

Just about all the tuning boxes for the 3.0 (euro 3 or 4) connect to the rail pressure sensor.
Fitting/removal is easy, lift off the plastic engine cover and the plug should be above the rocker cover on the middle cylinder on the front bank. Plug has 9 connectors.
    On a 2007 Z30DT it takes about 10 minutes to fit/remove one.
