Default Thinking about a BSR remap are you ?

I had an email from BSR today, they say you may be able to try the map on your car before you buy it.
Basically, an authorised dealer loads the map, you go for a test drive for 2 hours and return, either buying or having the standard map put back into your car.
Thats a good offer considering what they cost.

Depends if you want customer service after you've bought the map or not really. Personally I wouldn't go near BSR, not that there's anything wrong with the actual maps but their customer service and support has an atrocious reputation.

Neither agree nor diagree. Each to their own regarding mapping. I'm 3-1/2 yrs into owning my BSR map and have had no issues whatsoever.

yeah, what's to stop you driving off and denying all knowledge of it
"what remap? no idea what you're on about"

... i guess they make you pay upfront, and you get a refund if you don't want to keep it

I used to swear by BSR. I have had their remap since 2007 and I love it. When I bought it, their big selling point was indefinate free updates. They changed policy and now after 2 years, if you want updates, you pay a yearly subscription. Its not cheap. I feel cheated and would not now touch them with a barge poll on principle because of that. I hate being cheated and I will publicise this at every opporchancity to hurt them in my own way. Spitefull? Maybe.
