Default Couple of hours detail inbetween rain showers!

Bought a few new bits and pieces over the weekend so gave the vec a scrub as she hadnt been cleaned for about 3 weeks!

    First wash with turtlewax washnwax
    squeegeyd dry
2nd wash with megs gold class wash
    towel dried
    (was already gleaming after that!)
    poorboys blackhole (by hand)
    Megs gold class wax

    Wheels scrubed and waxed also

Then rained again so didnt get chance to do inside

i was going to clay it which may have given it a deeper shine but decided to leave it, i have megs ultimate compound&scratchx too, but i have used this a few times and dont want to cut my laquer back too much

Comments welcome as always (sorry not the best pics btw)

First rule really especially on a black car is Never use a squeegee, it could damage your efforts, the guy who detailed my car asked me to show him my squeegee, then snapped it in half lol. Note to self, think blade drying is not good for car
just dry with a fibre towel, i use 2 one to lift the main water, then second one to completely dry panel straight after
secondly a clay bar wont remove your lacquer, it just lifts contaminates from your paintwork.

Poor boys black hole is wicked stuff , no smears.

    cheers for the pointers phil,

Oh i know the clay wont lift the lacquer, but i have machined it a few times with rubbing compounds and used them by hand, and there is only so much you can rub away before the paint really, and i dont want to ruin the paintwork. Saying that, that ultimate compound stuff is the dogs nuts! so will propbably just save it for things like before meets and to remove new marks
