    Thumbs down Astra h dipped beam bulb change

    What a carry on, no access under bonnet, noticed flap in wheel arch, can only fit one arm in at a time, so had to take wheel off, crazy took about 45 min to change a bulb, whats that all about... next time the wife can do her own bulbs

    Yeh, I found this one a faff too mate! glad it has H7's and not HID's though

    turn the wheels to full lock, easily accesable with 16inch wheels on, can be rather dirty in there though,. 17 inch wheels or bigger and its wheel off jobs

    I think it would be quicker to remove the bumper.

    17's on there mate, isn't there ment to be some ruling that a bulb should take no longer than 15 min to change, sure i read it somewhere.

    I thought the astra was easy especially compared to my corsa d and the vec ( both bumper off jobs

    took me about 5 mins with 16s on mine, cant speak for larger wheels though

    corsa D isnt a bumper off job mate, my mrs has a 1.4 just changed hers for her

    i couldnt do my vectra C but the bloke at halfrods managed to get his wrist in the small gap and do it without taking anything off!

    Quickest way take bumper off take headlight off change bulb job done.

    Takes about 15 mins.
    Because no way I was getting my bulbs changed from wheel arch when car was lowerd 50mm

    How certain are you he didn't touch the bulb glass with his hands?

    Or did he wear gloves?
