    Default camber questions?

i lowered the car a little while back, but i feel now i need to get the wheel alignment and camber done. i have posted on the end of one of my old threads and had a few responses but wanted to double check to see what other people done/thought

my local kwik fit have quoted me £100.90 to do this, £30.99 for alignment and £70.00 for camber.

apparently you can adjust the back camber by undoing a nut and winding in the 2 bolts to take up the slack? is this accurate or how the garage will do it or will they use a machine because if that is the case then i may as well do that myself, but im told to adjust the front camber you need a tool which i think is quite expensive anyway.

so basically im wondering if anyone else has had this done and how its done and if im best to go ahead and take it to kwik fit as then i now its right. i was just a bit worried about paying £70.00 for them to undo a nut and tighten 2 bolts but like i say i dont have a tool for the fronts anyway.

    many thanks

I wouldnt take it to quickfit.

I would use someone of this website as they have proper 4 wheel alignment equipment: www.alignmycar.co.uk/

camber on the rear is that simple , just two oliptical bolts each side , there is a technical way of doing this but i've always done it by eye and no probs at all
