    Question Blower works on 2, 3 & 4 but not on 1 ??

My heater blower seems to work OK on settings 2, 3 & 4 but not on setting 1.

The common problem seems to be that the blower only works on 4 but not on 1, 2 or 3. - The common cause of this is a damaged resistor often due to water ingress via the scuttle tray.

If settings 2 and 3 work, does this indicate a problem possibly with the heater control fascia/unit rather than the resistor ?

Are you sure it is not working on 1, as I find it of very low effort and as such have to use 2

    Try this
Put the Air Con to OFF
    Turn the Setting to 0
Put the Air Con to ON
The system is now putting the air through at setting 1 (even though you have selected to 0), you can confirm this by moving it to 1 and there will be no difference, and then 2 and a slight increase

    Question Blower works on 2, 3 & 4 but not on 1 ??

Tried your test m8internet. I even closed off 3 of the 4 dash 'air outlets' (to concentrate the flow) and used a piece of tissue paper in front of the outlet. I'm as sure as I can be that there is NIL flow on on position 0 and on position 1, but good increasing flow on 2, 3 & 4.

    Any ideas ?

For the test I posted you do NOT need to move the dial, leave it on position 0
Start with the air con OFF
After a few minutes, turn the air con to ON
You should then feel air being blown through

I recommend you position the air flow to face level

Finally, does the car have a rear cabin vent?
    If so, close this

    Question Blower works on 2, 3 & 4 but not on 1 ??

Air flow to face level. Rear cabin vent closed. Followed all other m8internet guidance : NIL flow on setting 0 even after aircon switched on.

    Any conclusion ?
