So all grooved discs are ment to run that way round? Sorry but I strongly disagree. Please prove me wrong tho

I think you need to look at the vanes between the disks. I think they are curved on the Vectra C and the way they are curved should indicate the disk rotation.
Fit so the cooling vanes are the correct way round. ie draw air from centre, expelling it on the outside of the disc
As long as that is correct then there should not be a problem.
this might help http://www.apracing.com/info/info.as...ntification_41
So it seems the slots can go both ways as long as the vanes are going the right way

some disks are designed to be running this way but google it and the majority are the other way. mine got fitted the other way.
The more I think about it, the way the disks are fittedbon Ian's car appear correct as they would indeed throw the dirt out but it is down to the vanes inside to determine the correct fitting
i love this car looks spot on, its a credit to ya ian
So with the quality garage he went to were right then. I don't have a problem with being wrong and I understand how the way there fitted would help dispell brake dust and wot not. But gives you sommit to talk about in the pub. Here mate you discs are on the wrong way round. No they ain't and then u enter in to a very technical conversation lol
well its got you lot talking about my car i500
and many thanks to you all
