I think you need to look at the vanes between the disks. I think they are curved on the Vectra C and the way they are curved should indicate the disk rotation.
Fit so the cooling vanes are the correct way round. ie draw air from centre, expelling it on the outside of the disc

As long as that is correct then there should not be a problem.

    this might help http://www.apracing.com/info/info.as...ntification_41

So it seems the slots can go both ways as long as the vanes are going the right way

The more I think about it, the way the disks are fittedbon Ian's car appear correct as they would indeed throw the dirt out but it is down to the vanes inside to determine the correct fitting

I fitted tarox 40 groove disks years ago to an RST and the instructions stated that the fitting direction differed depending on the amount of grooves. The 40 groove were fitted different to the 12 groove.

So with the quality garage he went to were right then. I don't have a problem with being wrong and I understand how the way there fitted would help dispell brake dust and wot not. But gives you sommit to talk about in the pub. Here mate you discs are on the wrong way round. No they ain't and then u enter in to a very technical conversation lol
