Default M-Tec discs and EBC Yellowstuff pads

Ordered MTec drilled and grooved discs all round.

Anyone know if EBC Yellowstuff Pads will work well with them?

It's the pads that fade etc, not the discs. You can have any discs you want, grooved, drilled, dimpled, plain, but if your pads are cack, then so will the stopping ability.

EBC aren't the only brand out there. They have varying degrees of quality, I personally use the ebc Greenstuff in my trackcar, but it's only light. My neighbour had red stuff pads in his evo 8 and he hated them to the point of removing them and sending them back. He got a full refund when he complained, no questions asked! What does that tell you?

uprated pads options are limited for the 314mm GSI brakes I run the EBC yellows and they are very good, even from cold! after periods of normal driving they loose initial bite, this could be glazing but i have found a good heavy application brings them back! I must admit I have not been able to compare them to other high performance pads! I do know the age of the brake fkuid is critical!
