    Vehicle : Facelift Insignia/Corsa D

    Trim : LE/VXR

    Engine : 2.0 cdti/1.6 Turbo

    Year : 13/07

    Default

    Common:
    Boost pipe failure
    vacuum pipe failure

    Rarer:
    leak off pipes
    Injector seals

    Really Rare:
    diesel pump failure

The egr and boost sensors need a clean every 6 months or so and thats about it tbh

    Vehicle : Focus

Not allot actually. Crankshaft pulley can /will fall off, common problem on the dti`s. Cost about £200 to fix.

Egr and boost sensor can get clogged up if not using enough power. ie driving like miss Daisy, It needs a good boot every now and again.

Just maintain it well and change the oil regularly, (every 5k i do mine) and they will last a good mileage.

Some on here in the 200k area, mine on 102k and all well.

Yes more reliable than the CDTI and yes a good engine.

Go and test drive 1 and see what you think. They are good on economy average 50mpg over a tankful, and on a motorway run 60mpg.
