    Default Paint baking

Question, get on very well with my local Vauxhall dealer ( Picador ), know all on the service desk by name, all the parts bloke too and the body shop, they all know me well too, now, I have just finished piano blacking all the exterior pillar trims and spoke to the bodyshop manager Saturday morning and he has agreed to place them in the oven to cure the paint before I flat them back and polish them, do you all think it would be advisable or not necessary......

Not particularly necessary, all it does is speed up a process that will happen of its own accord anyway. You could cut the paint in a couple of weeks anyway. I suggest that if you're going to use up a favour, wait until its for something important, e.g. a Tech2 session or something of that calibre.
