Mudflaps,Paint them or leave them black

Ive had a set of mudflaps for my car for a while now but did not put them on as was gonna put lower rear valance on which Ive still got in garage.Not gonna bother with the rear valance at min so gonna put the mudflaps on when I get the chance.Simple one black or paint them red.Bearing in mind my car is a lot of red with very little black on her.If red whats the best paint to use ie do I need flexible paint on them or just normal plastic primer then topcoat.Any pics of painted ones on car would be great as well.

Mine are currently being sprayed dude and should be picking them up in an hour.......

I would defo colourcode them on red car dude. Is it the vxr valance....thats my next purchase and will be sprayed black

Mine are colour coded! Look much much better. IMO.

CC them, no contest, makes one hell of a difference to the look of the car IMO...

They look great colour coded on a Vec with colour coded skirts and rear skirt, but look best left black otherwise.

So far it's cost me £50 quid to spray them myself, 2 300ml tins plastic primer, 2 300ml tins halfords Black Sappire, which is crap coverage, so I tried 3 150ml tins of Hycote double acrylic spray which is better and 1 500ml tin of clear laquer. might have been cheaper to get a pro job done.

6 and 2 3's isnt it, I like them both ways. Lizards looks spot on with them painted, but I think that leaving them black can help break up the side of the car too.

mine are black and love them that way,.. but sp[rayed are good too .. as DasArab says.
