    confused Does this sound like the 3rd Injector Problem??

    After spending £600 on the suggested new inlet manifold, swirl actuator, timing belt kit, water pump and EGR valve. I phoned around and the best deal I could get for fitting was £350 at Nidd Vale - Vauxhall so I bit the bullet and booked it in also opting for a 7th Year service. So in total £500.

    First phonecall: Need new rear tyres + £100

    Second Phonecall: Actuator housing has had an 'interesting' repair in the past, would I like to replace at more cost or just rebuild as is.........REBUILD PLEASE.

    Third phonecall: Everything is fitted but now the car is performing worse than it did when they took it. Diagnosis: Faulty Throttle body - Quoted £300+.......bought a used one from ebay £50.

    Fourth phonecall: Due to the mileage of the car and the disturbance caused by the repairs, the flexihose part of the exhaust has crumbled away - Quoted £650 (Ran out of money by this point, so opted to do later) - On this point has anyone managed to cut out the worn one and weld in a separate flexihose?

    Anyway, main point of this post Driving it home, thankfully it never entered limp mode so appears to have solved that problem But now the car seems very low on power, not so much the base power as it does move through the gears ok...ish but the bite that was there before I took it in has vanished, as if maybe the turbo doesn't kick in. Could this be the 3rd injector problem??

    Anyone had the same problem?

    could be the 3rd injector mate,,,,or could be a clogged up boost sensor... u have had a good few problems there in a short space of time

    Just checked boost sensor and all is clear, so am I to assume right that it will be the 3rd injector wiring despite it being okay before I took it to the garage?

    third injector seems most likely now

    I'd sort out the exaust first tbh, You'l be loosing back pressure there bud!

    Thanks all, So having a faulty flexi hose will be causing loss of power?
