    Default Upgrading brakes fitting costs

Had a bit of a search but couldn't find anything.

I've got a nice set of 302mm brakes to be fitted, I've got the callipers (now painted), carriers, bolts, pads and disks. So as i understand it i have all the parts needed, except sensor wires, and the bleed nipples can be taken off my old callipers.

So assuming i don't need anything else, how much should i be looking at to have the new brakes fitted?

Competent garage should be able to change that over in about 1 hour, hour and a half tops. Easy job tbh. Hardest part can be getting the blooming disc off the hub. Buy yourself some nice stainless steel nipples off ebay just in case the old ones get damaged, Im sure Lizard once posted that they are M10 with a 1mm pitch.

I was toying with the idea of doing it myself, but i'm a bit nervous with them being brakes. I asked a mate if he'd chip in, but he said that although he doesn't mind working on his own car, he wouldn't really want to work on someone else's brake, and i can't blame him really.

Driveway at all...? As long as it wasn't tipping it down I'd be happy to do it for you - helped out a few guys with brakes over the years...
