Got the same sat nav, can I ask how you wired it in, did you use the coily cig lighter adaptor,? or did you manage to conceal the straight cable so it was hidden?

I have the same Road Angel Navigator, its a great piece of kit.My wife bought mine for me in March,it cost £500. The Navigator has a more comprehensive mapping program built into it than the 6000,thats why the 6000 is cheaper.

Hi, sorry £300 is the lowest I am prepared to go on this as it is still under 6 months old and still has warranty from Blackspot. AS said it is £399 on blackspot so £100 saving is not to bad. Also just above someone paid £500 for the same kit and says how good it is.

    Thanks

    Hi,

The way I did it was to buy a 1 to 3 cigarette adapter off Ebay then snip the end off that plugs into the lighter socket, the 2 wires were then connected to the live and neutral on head unit, meaning switched life. I then concealed that adapter behind the glove box, and connected the cig lighter charger from the Sat Nav into this. Because the adapter had 3 sockets it left one for the phone charger into the glove box and one for an ipod charger at the time.

DO NOT think you can just snip the ends off the sat nav as it uses a 5volt feed NOT 12volt so it needs the plug for the cig lighter so it reduces the voltage to the Sat Nav.

    Hope that makes sense.
