can anyone suggest some cheap mods for my sri to start me off.

Interior light upgrades and sunglasses holder: Total cost is about £40 for the whole lot and includes: 1, Front maplights and courtesy light. 2, new courtesy light and reading lights for rear seat passengers. 3, Sunlasses holder in central overhead compartment...... see the how 2 section here for that and other great ideas:

the best cheap mod but probably not as effective on yours is (being black) is to paint the black plastic lip under the front bumper. Cheap but very effective.

Others are removing badges from the rear, an irmscher grill (around £100 or less)
