Switched live is the black wire on the multi plug going into the back of the dashboard. There's a main earth point behind the drivers side kick panel. The lighting wire goes to the grey with yellow wire on the back of the light switch.

The hose runs through the bulkhead behind the dash (there's a grommet behind the wiper mechanism under the bonnet, you may need to take the wiper mechanism out, I did as it was easier). You don't say which engine you've got, but if it's the 2.0T, then the connection point is on the vacuum solenoid under the front engine cover, there's a small box with three hoses connected to it and an electrical plug, you cut the hose going to the inlet manifold and place the T-piece in there.

I took all my connections from the cigarette lighter, but my Boost gauge is in a centre air vent and has an electrical feed from a boost sensor so no vacuum pipe needs to go through the bulkhead.

Yeah, the Maptun gauge has a hose for a vacuum connection not an electrical one. I took the power connections from the closest available point for were I was mounting it.

My thread were I fitted mine http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=137331

Took my ignition live from multiplug on the back of light switches, it was the closed ignition live I could find, there's also a earth on there too, think the wires were brown and black

Pop the grey pastic clip out at the top and the trim will pull off.
