You've probably got the Garrett turbo, later cars come with the Mitsubishi TD04 which is tougher and will give more power when allied to a remap that takes the turbo change into account; so you could swap to that one.

the turbo is a Mitsubishi TD04L14T, it can be found on the later 2006 onwards Vecs and Signums.. The saabs also had them on their B207R engine.. You can buy them reconditioned or straight secondhand from the bay of E or saab breakers.. It has to be a GM version to have correct 3 bolt fitting for your manifold. You can map around 240bhp or more with one of these on, depends on the pother bits you have done and the tuner..

you will need to have upgraded your fuel injectors before hand and also bought a new set of oil and water lines to enable you to fit this high pressure turbo. The low pressure Garrett gt2052 you currently have can be mapped up to 230bhp ish depending on your other mods.. This Garrett is very limited in respect of what hybriding can be done to it and not worth doing, a very small return for your money.. its about £130 for new lines, £220 if you buy them from some places.. Siemens 381cc Injectors range from £120 to £170 depending on supplier... Turbos are normally in the £400 plus range. If you don't do it yourself you will need to budget a few hours for labour as well..

the Mitsi TD04 is a little bigger but unless you know what your looking for you will need to look at the name plate on the side of the compressor housing, the turbo model number is stamped in there.. I would expect a 55 plate to be a Garrett turbo though but i am unsure from which chassis number they decided to use the Mitsi along with Saab, i am aware from info on here that it was somewhere during or just after 2006..
