what does this wire/plug do?

i have two plugs, one coming out from behind each headlight... I cannot figure our what each is supposed to connect to, the drivers side is a grey plug but the passenger side is a green plug, they are identical is shape, size and location

OS - Drivers side (headlight in)


NS - Passenger side (headlight removed)



Any ideas?

nah.. thats done by just one little harness under the passenger side headlight to the pump on the washer tank which then pumps via hoses out to the headlights...

Could be TPMS have you looked in your boot by the rear lights will be 2 plugs there to. Found same on mine mate.

there was nothing like that last time I had the rear clusters out..

Maybe it's for the headlamp levelling motor some Vectras have.

Anything to do with the headlights is in built into the headlights themselves... Even I'm lost for this one...

air bag sensor plugs ....for higher spec cars with a few airbags more than the lower spec ones ...duel stage air bags and so on....
