    Default H&R Springs, any good?

I'm going to be lowering my car soon hopefully and was going to use the adjustable spax kit the same as I did on my old saloon, it gave a fantastic ride, but it was a pig to fit and only lowers about 30mm.

Ideally I want to lower my estate a bit more than that, somewhere around 40-45mm and I can't find any spring kits that lower that much other than the H&R's (which lower 40mm but I've never heard of them). Anyone got any experience of these springs?

Bilstein use them on some of their b12's. They recently changed the vec b12's from h and r to eibachs

iirc correctly yhe HR's go for the german stance of a slighly lower front and a slightly higher rear for a more agressive look

    Hi Ian,

On my old 3.2 Elite I had the Bilstein B12 kit fitted, IIRC B8 shocks with H&R springs, both the ride and the stance were superb, highly recommended, so much so infact that I'm considering the same kit for my 2.0T
