I dont think its too cheap, fair dos its the cheapest one on for its age but its not like there isnt at least 4 others with a similar year/engine within 500quid. Maybe he just wants a quick sale or it might not be in great nick and hes not being too optimistic with his pricing. Its not great selling but some people would rather put the lowest price up and not budge from that rather then put the price up and have to negotiate. I picked up my 05 prefacelift 1.9sri with only 70000 for a wee bit more then that because the guy just wanted rid of it and honestly didnt have a clue about buying or selling (also couldnt afford the next service because the poor soul took it to vauxhall for a full diagnostic- they proposed a service for approx £800 including two new shocks, new steering arms, pads, and the list goes on).

One thing i will never understand is if you are selling a car which has something wrong with it why would you put it for a ridiculously low price and try bluff your way through. Putting it at a stupidly low price screams out "theres something wrong with this car" especcially if there are no other cars in the same sort of price bracket. Rather just put it at a fairly low price then try bluff it....

vectras are worth absolutely nothing.......residuals are extremely poor which is why i would never ever ever ever ever spend anymore than 2k on a vectra for the simple fact that there is no way I'll be seeing that again!....

Well, if I pay £10k for a fairly new Vectra and hold it for 10 years, get around a grand back, £9K depreciation over 10 years, no worse than any other car really.

I think it is a fair price. I think you would pay £3800 for it in a garage. But that is obviously the garage making a profit.
