Default Broken foglight glass - can I replace it?

The drivers side /offside foglight on my 04 Vectra cti has a broken glass, the rest of the unit is ok - is it possible to just replace the glass or do I need to replace the whole unit?

When you replace the glass on one side only it can result in an unusual looking result where a slight difference can be seen, due to wear and tear on that glass, especially on low (to the ground) fitting front fog lights

    Personally, replace both of them
Expensive, but the results will be worth it

My car was hit by a fox, which destroyed the nearside fog light assembly, a few days after buying the car
I noticed a difference in the replacement, which I didn't think there would have been with the car just over 1 year old
However comparing the glass it was clear there was a slight difference
The offside was then replaced and the beams matched again

Yea you have to watch those foxes running into your car. I think it was a fox that ran into the front wing of my car while it was parked in Tesco's car park ! lol
Seriously - I think glass does discolour over the years if you look at old windscreens they never look as clear as a new one.I've managed to get one off Fleabay from a car that is the same age so hopefully it will be a reasonable match. Mine had obviously been hit by a stone that has left a neat hole in the glass - I just wondered if the glass could be replaced seperatly and perhaps siliconed onto the body which is in good nick. Still sorted now. Thanks for the replies
