I feel your pain. Ever since working on Graemes car nearly 3 weeks ago i've had pains in the lower left hand side of my back which is really starting to limit what I can do.

I have good days and bad and i'm even starting to feel it when driving. If I go to the doctor is there anything they can do or is it a case of take some pain killers and live with it?

Back pain is difficult to locate as it is generaly difficult to know the reason. Some say it's an injury which never really has time to heal, if you're active.

The best thing for your back is complete rest... easy to say but not so easy to achieve. Go to your doctor and get a clinical assessment. Look privately for an osteopath. They aren't that expensive and can help treat your back and give you posture exercises that will build the core muscles in your back.

Back injuries are treatable but there is rarely a quick fix.

Jeez mate thats not good, feel really bad if doing my cars knackered your back .

I had bad back after a rear end shunt years ago and it was coming from a muscle in my chest / shoulder. Had stretches that eventually helped and a daft excercise of walking your hands up a wall. Best to get checked out though bud.

    Sorry again

Don't be daft mate, if it hadn't been yours it would have been something else

May not have even been down to working on your car tbh as it wasn't till the day after that I felt it, being a big ******* doesn't help

Go to an ostheopath mate, works wonders. I'm off there again tomorrow to work on a pulled hamstring and lower back pain. Well worth the money.
In the mean time alternate between ice and hear pack. 5mins on each.
    Hope it eases soon pal
