    Default Poorly 2.0T Signum

    Here goes .......

A week or so ago after driving home from shopping my car just cut out, managed to roll into a quiet street (after trying to bump it), turned the key and nothing, all usual dash lights are on but nothing on key, got towed home by a friend left it for half hour and bang, turns over no probs running fine.
Few days later same happens again but this time got AA out n had him baffled, ruled out bad earth on engine, faulty relay and settled on a poss immobiliser fault (he told me to google it lol), he took off battery terminal left for a few mins (reset ??) and it fired up went home, he told me to keep a 10mm spanner in the car lol.
Today went and got some petrol, sat in turned key and nothing ... pushed it back away from the forecourt (tried key again) took out my trusty 10mm disconnected leads for a few mins, reconnected and it fired then cut out, disconnected again, reconnected fired up no probs then drove home no probs

    Any suggestions ..... ? thanks

Yep, theres a clicking that seems to be coming from the fuse box area at the side of the glove box when turning the key.
There has been the engine management light on for a while so i knew about the O2 sensor but MOT guy said thats nothing to worry about.

Had it on the scanner today and theres a problem with the lambda sensor (O2 sensor) and theres a faulty solenoid on the starter so gonna get them sorted and hopefully happy days

Changed the lambda and starter and its still doing the same (not turning over), got it booked in at stealers tomorrow to plug into diagnostics (aparently Vauxhall at Wigan dont charge for this anymore), a mechanic friend thinks it might be a fault on the immobiliser possibly from the key code, he had the dash apart yesterday checking the relays and theyre fine.

Strange thing is though he came round this afternoon and the car started no problem.

Lets see what tech2 shows up at the stealers lol
