    Default Retro Fitting TPMS

It looks like this weekend will see me starting the retro fit of TPMS into my Veccy (54 plate PreFace)

Since mine is a full canbus car I will be fitting only two receivers in the NS arches. Since I have no wiring (until I install it) for the rear receiver nor the control unit I intend to fit the control unit on the NS next to the REC. I know the control unit normally sits down by the rear OS light cluster but I don't foresee any issues in relocating it.

I have searched the forum extensively and found lots of info so am quietly confident but I would like to hear from those who have done this to their own cars about any hints/tips or tricks or just general problems they encountered or any other info that might be of use to me prior to starting.

done it to mine, but the front plug was already there, the rear had to be added, but it's only two wires and a plug that needs making. Surprised the loom and plug for the controller isn't there though.

PS.. your package is on its way.

Same as mine lofty. No loom for the receiver either, had to make it up and run it to the REC.

Do you need the multiplug for the control unit as I have one with a few inches of wire coming from it if you want it. My car had the wiring in place already

Thanks for the offer John but Andy.l has manufactured the wiring and provided all the plugs etc I need to complete the project (hopefully)...

I need to run wires from under the bonnet, through the car to the REC for the control unit... then into the arch for the rear receiver (the front wiring is already there)
